Term IVF™

Why Term?

A child is born after 9 months of pregnancy is called – term. A child born earlier is called pre-term or premature. Every effort is made to keep pregnancy until the term is reached, because prematurity can contribute to many health problems.

Just like a baby, an egg must ovulate – term (about 16 days after start of the period), to have a better chance to reach optimal quality.

How is Term IVF™ is different from conventional?

Conventional stimulation is almost always shorter than required for an egg to reach term. Usually about 12 days. This is particularly true for patients under 30 years old, older than 37 years, and patients with PCOS.  Term IVF™ is about 16 days.

Term IVF™ protocol

Term IVF™ is using a patent-pending ovarian stimulation protocol to improve egg quality by extending the follicular phase to about 16 days. It achieves this by enabling a doctor to keep your circulating FSH within a narrow band that ensures the optimal pace of follicular expansion.

The power of Term IVF™

Patients who had multiple cycles of conventional IVF with poor or no embryo development, become pregnant and deliver after Term IVF™.
